This Friday 2 December, at 6 p.m., at the Palazzetto dei Nobili in L’Aquila, the documentary “On the Trail of the Glaciers – Mission to Alaska” will be screened, on the occasion of the eighth edition of the Festival Del Gran Sasso.
Fabiano Ventura, who will be in the audience, will be interviewed by Gabriele Curci, lecturer in Atmospheric Physics at the University of L’Aquila and University delegate for the working group on Climate Change within the Network of Universities for Sustainable Development (RUS), to discuss recent climate change and its effects. The discussion will be concluded by a preview screening of footage taken in 2020 on the Calderone glacier, on the Gran Sasso of Italy, during the expedition “On the Trail of the Glaciers – Alps 2020”.
The Gran Sasso 2022 Festival, now in its eighth edition, offers all visitors to the highest mountain in the Apennines a programme of about 200 events, organised by almost 40 tourist operators, associations, breeders, producers and farmers from the Gran Sasso territory. A way to experience this mountain from the inside, together with those who keep the traditions of their land intact and know every corner, every majestic view, every flavour.
