Saturday 24 July, Fabiano Ventura will be the guest at the second edition of the “Appennino Foto Festival” to present the photographic project “On the trail of the glaciers” – Exploring the past for a sustainable future.

On the evening of Saturday 24 July, in the municipality of Cessapalombo, Fabiano Ventura will talk to the journalist Stefano Ardito about the photographic-scientific project “On the trail of the glaciers”, which has been combining photographic comparisons and scientific research for more than 10 years in order to divulge the effects of climate change thanks to the observation of the variations of the glacial masses in the last 150 years.

From 17 to 25 July, the most evocative places of the municipalities of Belforte del Chienti, Caldarola, Camporotondo di Fiastrone, Cessapalombo, Serrapetrona, will be the setting of “Appennino Foto Festival-Luce della Rinascita“, now in its second edition. After the success of 2019, the Photonica3 Association returns to propose a unique festival in the regional and national panorama. AFF21, a travelling format, will be full of exciting events with great interpreters of the photographic-literary-naturalistic world. Internationally renowned professionals, big names from the world of nature and environmental photography, and personalities known to the general public, have accepted the invitation of the organisers, who this year are joined by the collaboration of the Unione Montana dei Monti Azzurri and the support of the Marche Region, which together with the five municipalities hosting the events will create a festival that is sure to thrill residents and tourists alike. AFF2021 also enjoys the free patronage of the Monti Sibillini National Park and the support of Banco Desio. Conferences, exhibitions and workshops also for children, will lead the audience in the unique and evocative scenery of the Sibillini Mountains and the villages of the Apennines.
