Back from London, my journey for iconographic research and new partnerships for the next expedition “On the trail of the glaciers – Himalaya 2018” continues in northern Italy. Bergamo, Milan and then Parma to meet the journalist Marcello Rossi who will participate in the expedition. Yesterday hectic but very profitable day. In Turin I met the Environmental Park managers where we will organize a presentation of the project for their companies and for many high school students in February. From Turin we moved to Biella to see and select the wonderful panoramic photographs of Vittorio Sella of his trip to Sikkim and Nepal in 1899 where I also found some beautiful reproductions of the legendary expedition in which Edmund Hillary reached the summit of Everest in 1953.
In short, I met stories and saw places and photographs that have inflamed my soul!
